Kristin Farrell, BSN, RN, CCRN. Advanced Heart Failure ICU RN at Memorial Hermann. Graduating in 2009 from Rhode Island College, Kristin began her nursing career at Inova Fairfax in their Intermediate Care Unit where she worked for two years before transferring to the CVICU and finding her passion for cardiac surgery patients. In 2013, she relocated to Houston and began working in the Heart Failure ICU at TMC. She has spent the last 13 years specializing in the care of Heart Failure specific patients as well as the management of mechanical circulatory support, both permanent and temporary. She is an active member of several groups including but not limited to the mentorship committee, peer interview committee and an ECMO champion.
