Dr. Marat Fudim is an Associate Professor and heart failure cardiologist at the Duke University Medical Center. He completed his medical school in Germany, residency at Vanderbilt and cardiology fellowship at Duke. He currently serves as the Medical Director for the Clinical Research Unit, Heart Failure Remote Monitoring and Heart Failure Device Clinic. He won the 2021 American College of Cardiology Douglas Zipes Distinguished Young Investigator Award. His research interest is in the pathophysiology of HF, and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction specifically
