Critical Care Nurse Practitioner CTICU
chapel hill, North Carolina, United States
I got my start as an NP over 6 years ago right here at Hermann in the Advanced Heart Failure Program. Amanda, Fidel, and the whole team took a chance on me, and taught me the skills needed to succeed in this field. From there, I moved to Florida, where I worked at Advent Health Orlando expanding competency in shock and MCS. My love for transplant medicine drove me to the CTICU at Duke where I've been for the past year and half continuing to grow in the field of transplant and critical care. In addition to my full time work at Duke, I work in Cincinnati at the Christ Hospital in their CTICU working with them as they grow their program. My heart is with my friends and family. My passion and joy lie in dreaming about what transplant medicine might become in 20 to 30 years and working to make it a reality.
