I am Moe Ameri, MD, a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellow at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. I completed Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, before fellowship, and have a strong interest in high-value, systems-based care and outcomes research in critical care.
My scholarly focus includes shock physiology, resuscitation, and quality improvement, particularly in projects that enhance team performance, protocolized management, and patient-centered outcomes in acute care settings. I am also actively involved in resident and fellow education through simulation-based training and bedside teaching, with a commitment to translating evidence into practical, scalable improvements in ICU care.
