I am Dr. Emily Parks, a second-year Internal Medicine resident at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and am planning to pursue a fellowship in cardiology. In residency thus far, I have enjoyed expanding my knowledge on complex cardiovascular physiology and applying this to real patients in the critical care setting. I am passionate about translating these complex topics into terms understood by patients and families, and I have an interest in medical education within cardiology.
