I grew up in Pakistan, studied medicine at Aga Khan university and then moved fo New York for residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, then moved to DC for a year and did MPH at George Washington University, along with working locum shifts as hospitalist when I had time off. I moved to Houston after that and did Advanced Heart Failure and transplant fellowship for at UT Houston and at Houston Methodist hospital (over 2 ywars) and then got into my dream fellowship at UT Houston general cardiology.
