Galveston, Texas, United States
I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch, working within the Burn, Trauma, and Acute Care Surgery research program. My research focuses on sepsis and septic shock, with an emphasis on short- and long-term outcomes, organ dysfunction, and infection-related complications. I have experience conducting large-scale real-world data analyses using national electronic health record databases, as well as translational research in inflammatory and injury models. My work aims to integrate clinical epidemiology with mechanistic insights to improve early risk stratification and inform targeted therapeutic strategies for critically ill patients.
