Abdulla A Damluji is the Director of the Cardiovascular Center on Aging at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is a Clinical Professor of Medicine (Cardiology & Geriatrics) and a practicing interventional cardiologist and structural heart disease specialist at the Cleveland Clinic Heart, Vascular, and Thoracic Institute.
His NIH funded research examines health outcomes, geriatric syndromes, and multisystem dysregulation in older adults undergoing cardiovascular interventions. Overall, Dr. Damluji is dedicated to the study of cardiovascular aging and improving the quality of life for older adults living with cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Damluji obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH '07) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD '20) in Clinical Investigation from the Johns Hopkins University, where he was as a Pepper Scholar at the Johns Hopkins Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA '23) in Finance and Business Analytics and served as the Dean's Scholar in the Executive MBA Programs at New York University Stern School of Business.
