Quynh Le, MD, is a second-year Internal Medicine resident at Northwell Health. She was drawn into research through her experiences working with mentors at the National Institutes of Health, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and Thomas Jefferson University, where she gained firsthand insight into how research can advance disease understanding and patient care. Her work has focused on oncology and neuroscience, and she has had the opportunity to present at national conferences. These experiences inspired her to continue pursuing research during residency, and she hopes to carry this forward into clinical cardiology, with a particular focus on critical care and shock physiology. Her recent accomplishments include a publication in JACC: Case Reports and receiving the 2026 Northwell Department of Cardiology Research Consortium Award.
