Diego received a 100% scholarship from Anáhuac University to study medicine, creator of international projects, implementing campaigns, conferences, congresses and events in the health sector, extensive knowledge of the medical area, mentor and tutor for young people, skills in public speaking and group management, project leader in international settings, skills to coordinate people in different parts of the world, committed to everything I do.
He is interested in cardiology, critical care, and translational research. His academic work focuses on hemodynamics, cardiogenic shock, metabolic and inflammatory mechanisms of cardiovascular disease, and diagnostic challenges in acute cardiac conditions. He is an emerging leader of the inter-American Society of Cardiology (SIAC) and has participated in journal clubs and academic discussions within international cardiology communities, including activities associated with the American College of Cardiology.
In addition to his clinical training, Diego coordinates the research program in health sciences (INVESTIGA), promoting early involvement of medical students in research, and is the founder & president of the Anáhuac Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. He has been involved in observational research and literature-based projects, with experience in protocol development, systematic reviews, and data synthesis, and is motivated by bridging cardiovascular pathophysiology with clinical decision-making in high-acuity and academic settings.
