Courtney Carrozza, MSN, APN, AGNP-C, CCRN is the Lead Advanced Practice Nurse for the Cardiovascular Service Line and Cardiovascular Interventional Suite at CentraState Medical Center, an Atlantic Health System partner. With over 15 years of experience in critical care and the cardiac cath lab setting, Courtney brings deep clinical expertise in managing complex cardiovascular patients, with a particular interest in cardiogenic shock and mechanical circulatory support (MCS).
In her current role, she facilitates and manages the care of pre- and post-procedural cardiac cath lab patients, playing a key role in the coordination of same day discharge and STEMI response while also streamlining patient care across interdisciplinary teams. Courtney has been instrumental in the development and implementation of an APP-driven hydration protocol aimed at reducing contrast-induced nephropathy. Her research abstract on managing acute kidney injury using contrast threshold measurements has been accepted at ACC.25, SCAI and the Organization of Nurse Leaders New Jersey chapter, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
