Lucy Jefferson completed her medical school and residency in Cardiac Surgery at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta. She is currently an Advanced Fellow in Cardiac Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois with specialization in MCS, Heart Failure, and Cardiac Transplantation. Prior to medical school she completed training as a nurse practioner and worked as an ICU Nurse in Northern Alberta. She is originally from Texas, and is a dual citizen of the US and Canada.
