Abhijeet Dhoble is a Professor of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston with nearly 15 years of experience in cardiology and internal medicine. He serves as Director of Structural Heart Interventions and Co-Director of the Heart and Brain Program at UTHealth Houston. In addition, he is the Associate Program Director for the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, where he plays a key role in training future interventional specialists. His clinical expertise centers on complex structural heart procedures, transcatheter valve therapies, and complex coronary interventions. Over the course of his career, he has led or participated in numerous NIH- and industry-sponsored clinical trials, shaping the field of interventional cardiology. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and has presented his work at major cardiology conferences worldwide. He serves on national committees and advisory groups, including the ACC-NCDR LAAO Registry Steering Committee and Publication sub-committee.
